Research and Intelligence

Cheshire and Warrington Research and Intelligence Collaborative (CWRIC)

The Cheshire and Warrington Research and Intelligence Collaborative (CWRIC) workstream forms part of the wider Public Service Transformation ‘Enabling Programme’ which includes a number of themed activities that are intended to create the right conditions to drive transformation across the sub-region. The aim of CWRIC is to support the delivery of the sub-regional strategy by providing a collaborative approach to research and intelligence in order to support strategic decision-making for key stakeholders.

CWRIC is also championing the development of knowledge and information management standards across the sub-region in order to ensure effective data sharing between partner organisations.

The CWRIC Management Board is currently chaired by Kathryn Griffiths (Assistant Director of Partnerships & Performance at Warrington Borough Council) and includes representation from Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West and Chester Council, Cheshire Constabulary, Cheshire and Warrington Enterprise Partnership (LEP), and Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service (CFRS). Membership is currently being extended to include Health representation. The Board is supported by the Sub-Regional Programme Office and reports direct to the Public Service Transformation Board.
